So, I'm wanting to get some playtesting in on my Capoeirista (or, if you prefer, chaotic monk/ninja/bard hybrid) base class. Here's what I have in mind:
Starting at level three (before that, the character is more at the mercy of the dice than anything), I put someone up against a CR 3 creature. Regardless of victory or defeat, we move on to level 4 vs. CR 4, up until either I'm satisfied or you're tired of it. I promise I will not send you up against a monster type that leaves this class screwed by its very nature. This includes (but is not necessarily limited to) monsters immune to critical hits, flying monsters, and incorpreal monsters. I reserve the right to throw class-levels on something instead of a straight monster, but at the very most you will be facing savage humanoids. Most will be straight monsters.
Each fight will take place in a 100 x 100 square arena (probably generated by the arena feature, possibly generated in Maptool if I feel like taking the time for that). It will be plain, and each combatant will start on opposite corners.
Anyone interested in helping me out? If so, make me a third level Capoeirista. No multiclassing, and no races with a level adjustment; other than that, the sky's the limit. Standard WBL; at each level up, you can choose to re-buy all equipment with that level's WBL.
